Now our champion pisser off-er must be Van The Person Morrison. I went to see him once in front of Collage green Trinity collage Dublin, a free concert, where all the musicians were happy to give a little back, except for VTM. He even pissed the rest of the bands off.

This one is about Ireland!
Small story, when I was young a Christmas card came through our letter box and fell to the ground. Inside was the strangest card I’d ever seen, but it was a Christmas card. It contained photos of various prisons in the north and republic of the “emerald isle” and the UK. The cover had a colourful picture of a phoenix rising out of the ashes and a caption stating “And out of the ashes rose the provision IRA” or words to the same strength… Time moves on I suppose!

This great song; letting loose the explosive energy of another Irish powder keg of my time. It’s from someone who I wish could find herself again. The song “Troy” is about the Phoenix, in my option herself rising from lost broken love.

I wish her back as she was then!

This is the second part of the competion between Tall Paul and Pure Science, give it time, it growns on you.

I wanted to put up the second part of the last one, but I couldn't be bothered yet.... I got big time distracted by "Rock n Roll Pod" again, (and again) another hero of mine in our little world!

I'm not Dutch, but other than Willian of Orange, some nice things did skake the world from that country... Sadly Theo paid the price for saying what needed saying!

The origin of this was a small competition in 1998 between two great mixers, Tall Paul and Pure Science, part 2 to follow.

This one is to let you hear something different. People on the "older" side of the Atlantic probably know this guy… He helped me get me through my teens in the eighties; he always put a smile on my face… Sorry if he’s not your cup of tea! John Cooper Clark, "yer only man"!!
